Digital Retinal Scan (DRS)

What does a DRS Scan do?

Swisscoat Vision Center offers comprehensive eye care with Digital Retinal Scan (DRS) that takes a highly detailed photograph of your retina. The scan allows us to identify the early stages of eye diseases.

Simple process

The scan is a simple process, and your eyes wouldn’t feel a thing. Your optometrist will guide you through the process where you will look at a coloured spot through an eyepiece, and the process is done after two flashes. After the scan, your optometrist will discuss the results with you and suggest a proper treatment.

Prevention is the best medicine

It’s a good idea to have a DRS every two years to check for any subtle changes, because early detection of eye problems such as Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration can broaden treatment options
